Living so close to the coast, we’re lucky that we can escape from the city and be by the sea in no time.

If you visit Crosby beach at just the right time, when the tide is out and the sky is clear, you’ll be met with a vast featureless expanse. But even on the quietest of days, when there is hardly anyone else about, you’ll never be truly alone.

The sight of the 100 “Iron Men” figures spread out along the length of the shore, all of them looking out to sea, staring at the horizon in silent expectation, is something we never tire of. Whether we’re taking a brisk early morning walk with the dog or an evening stroll as the sun sets, the sound of the waves lapping against the water’s edge always brings a sense of calm and peace.

We created this candle with top notes of mandarin, lemon, green leaf and violet, enhanced by a hint of lavender and a base of sandal, cedar, amber, musk and patchouli.
