The story behind the scent
Joe’s Grandad, Billy, was a quiet, hardworking man. A docker in his younger days, he could turn his hand to almost anything and taught him the importance of working hard and providing for the people you love.
In later years, Joe would sometimes join him at the local pub, sitting amongst the old oak furniture of The Snug as Billy and his friends reminisced about the good old days over a pint or two.
They were simple afternoons, but they became memories that stayed.
The Snug was created in Billy’s memory. Warm and familiar, with smoky tobacco leaf, sweet honey, amber, spices and woody undertones.
Hand-poured in Liverpool, in memory of a very special Grandad.
